Looks amazing from the outside.
Won’t be the same without the sticky floors though.

Re: The Boleyn Pub
Big gamble given there's no football crowd as such and the locals aren't known to be into drinking as much

Re: The Boleyn Pub
Weird decision spending all that money when 80% of the clientele don't need to go there or have left Newham in their thousand's.

They may go down the big screen for matches for those who refuse to go to the O/S.

Not sure how they'll get around the licencing/showing live games issue but if there's money to be made...

Re: The Boleyn Pub
Surprised how some of the boozers down that way are still going, particularly after covid.

Denmark Arms looks like an absolute pit, not that it was nice back in the day.

Block,

The Denmark will always hold fond memories, even if it's only for the Peter Storrie standing on a chair speech moment!

Always liked the Boleyn and The Denmark. Is the Ruskin Arms still closed?

FMOB I assumed it had closed down and become a chicken shop ages ago.

MPH - Has it? Doesn't look like it from the outside.

Re: The Boleyn Pub
Glad to see that fantastic glass ceiling has been retained and restored. Apart from that it was pretty ordinary and the matchday clientele a little immature for my old git taste.

I was The Duke, Queens (downstairs) Charlenes, POW afterwards. Sometimes the Denmark after a game. Rarely The Boleyn, Wakefield, Central.
